10 Biggest WTF True Blood Moments
4. Kill Bill
Sookie and Bill was the true love story of True Blood. It started in the first season and ran through the usual long-term TV relationship drama: they were on, they were off, she was a fairy, he was a crazy vampire god...
Just your typical Ross-and-Rachel stuff.
It ended when the show was approaching its own end, as Bill decided that the only way Sookie could truly be happy is if she married a human who could give her a family, but the only way he could give her up is if he were dead. So he realises that he has to die, and naturally he asks Sookie to help, and in the process get rid of her fairy side.
She’s resistant at first, but ultimately and reluctantly agrees to do it, albeit without using her fae-energy. After a tearful farewell, she drives a stake through his heart and is left kneeling crying in his remains, before getting out and using her hands to fill his grave with dirt.
Given the length of time the show had devoted to the two of them, this was certainly a different way to end things, to say the least. Imagine Rachel not getting off the plane, and then throw in a pile of blood and guts, and you get the ending to their love story.
