Extreme Cheapskates makes you think back fondly of every time your father yelled at you for touching the thermostat or leaving lights on in a room you are no longer inhabiting. Because compared to these people, you father is a foolhardy spendthrift who might as well be driving around town throwing hundred dollar bills out the window. What they really need is a psychiatric evaluation but of course, since this is America, what they'll get instead is a featured spot on a reality show, setting them up as an exhibit in a modern day freak show. These are not the people who spend a lot of time couponing or anything like that. No, these are the people who pee in a jar in their perfectly functional bathroom to avoid flushing the toilet (hey, each flush adds up) and go garbage picking to find food that they're going to serve to guests. Totally off the reservation. One has to wonder where they even find enough of these people to bring on the show.
