8. Dr. Barry Goodman
Dr Goodman is literally in the show for a matter of scenes but plays a crucial role nonetheless.
Stationed in Mexico and working solely for Gus Fring, it's Goodman who saves both Gus and Mike from certain death following their hit on Don Eladio and his Cartel members. Goodman's initial sole focus is to save Gus given he is paid by the Los Pollos Hermanos drug lord, leaving the viewer to think that Mike could well be left to die given Jesse's panic at the situation.
However, he saves the day and is eventually the one who informs Mike that Gus has been killed, clearly at the hands of Walt. This sets in motion events which see Mike and Walt begin the start of their strained relationship following Gus' death.
A very minor character in the context of the entire story but if it wasn't for Dr Goodman, then we wouldn't have seen both Mike Gus meet their end at the hands of Walt.
