10 Breaking Bad Mistakes Nobody Noticed

5. Mike's Geography Lessons

The relationship between badass Mike Ehrmantraut and Jesse Pinkman was one of the most surprisingly wholesome dynamics the series ever produced, with the super assassin displaying a genuine level of affection from time to time. He becomes almost like a paternal figure throughout the show, taking Jesse under his wings and embarking on a couple of adventures together for Gus Fring and co.

For the first instance of these adventures, Mike picks up Jesse for a series of dead drops around the New Mexico desert. Once Jesse comes to terms with the truth that Mike isn't there to take him out per an order from Gus, he becomes bored by the long travel time and asks where the two of them going. Mike replies with a simple: 'North.'

It's a pretty definitive direction, but one that makes absolutely no sense when put in context with the scene it's set in. The two characters are shown to be sat in a car driving along a straight road heading towards the sunrise which, besides making for a much cooler shot, obviously is impossible to be coming up from the north.
