10 Breaking Bad Mistakes Nobody Noticed
6. Jane's Never-Ending Ice Lolly
The story of Jesse and Jane is arguably the most tragic and shocking point in the entire run of Breaking Bad, with both characters finally finding some respite and a reason to begin looking forward to their lives before having it all snuffed out in a second.
There is one particular scene however that stands out for ripping up all laws on continuity between the two.
After Jane rips into Jesse during an altercation with her father, the two clash over the direction their relationship is going in. Jesse is clearly all in on his feelings and up for making things more serious, however Jane is of the thinking that if you have something good and casual going on, why change it?
During the conversation, Jane is shown eating a lemon-flavoured ice lolly. Said ice lolly (or 'popsicle' in the States) goes from completely untouched, half-eaten and then back to fully formed again. At no point does she ever go over to a freezer and pick up a new one, or pull another ice lolly out from a bag or a counter or something, so where does this power of rebuilding frozen treats come from?
It's ridiculously picky, and no audience member can be blamed for missing this when it was first shown, but it's another chalk up for the continuity errors.
