3. In The Flesh
Set in the fictional town of Roarton, In the Flesh is about the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse — something which the town residents refer to as The Rising. The series follows Kieran Walker, a young lad who suffers from Partially Deceased Syndrome — in other words, he was once a zombie.
Kieran returns to Roarton, but his return doesn’t go down well with the town residents, many of whom think that he and all the other former zombies should be destroyed. With a heart-wrenching performance from Luke Newberry, this Dominic Mitchell-scripted drama is one of the most original takes on a zombie apolcalypse you’ll ever see and, once you enter the world of In The Flesh, you won’t want to leave.
