Starring Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar, Unforgotten tells the tale of two detectives who investigate cold cases. The first season focuses on the investigation of Jimmy Sullivan’s death after his body in unearthed in an old cellar. DCI Cassie Stuart and DI Sunny Kahn must piece together the evidence as they try to get to the bottom of what really happened to Jimmy, several decades after his death.
With a surprising conclusion and a wonderful script from writer Chris Lang, Unforgotten is one of Britain's most gripping series. As of the moment, there are two wonderful seasons, and a third is planned for later this year.
Despite airing in the UK back in 2015, the series has only made its way to America this year, having recently commenced on PBS. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
