10 Buffy The Vampire Slayer Actors Who Went On To Star In Supernatural
8. Mercedes McNab
Mercedes McNab began her life on Buffy as cruel, vapid, bleach-blonde teen Harmony Kendall, and the character's death and resurrection as a vampire at the conclusion of season three didn't change her all that much. Harmony's afterlife saw her continue to star on Buffy through seasons four and five as an only slightly more evil thorn in the Scooby Gang's side (and on-again, off-again high-maintenance girlfriend to James Marsters' Spike), before graduating onto sister show Angel as the big man's secretary at Wolfram & Hart (LA's foremost evil law firm).
After Angel was mercilessly cancelled by The WB, McNab had a few years in the wilderness before returning to television with a spate of guest starring roles, which included an appearance in Supernatural's season three episode "Fresh Blood". Once a bloodsucker, always a bloodsucker, McNab starred as the vampire Lucy, whose tragic backstory of being spiked (and turned) with a vampire's blood was not enough to save her from the business end of a Winchester's blade.
McNab retired from acting back in 2011 to raise a family and, unlike the majority of celebs who have made this bold claim, has stuck to her guns.
