10 Cancelled Star Wars Clone Wars Episodes We Never Got To See

Cad Bane was one of the greatest characters introduced in The Clone Wars, so it was devastating for fans to hear about the episodes which would have had him and Boba Fett teaming-up in a western-inspired series of episodes which paid tribute to John Ford's The Searchers.

The two bounty hunters would travel to Tatooine to rescue a child who had been kidnapped by a tribe of Tusken Raiders. The classic Star Wars villains appeared in their familiar style but with a new Tusken Raider Shaman Leader who sported a Krayt dragon crown.

Bane served very much as a mentor to Boba, and would explain to him how he was familiar with Boba's father, Jango Fett. Cad Bane would also have had a freshly updated look and a new ship named The Justifier.

One of the most exciting aspects about this arc is that it ended in a shootout between Bane and Fett with Bane seemingly losing to young Boba who had donned his father's Mandalorian armour. Some early animation clips of the episodes have been screened at various conventions and are available online for viewing, but it is still painful that we were deprived of these episodes in their full glory.
