10 Celebrity Guests Who Should've Stayed In South Park
8. Michael Dorn
Episode(s) appeared in: Fun with Veal (Season 6, Episode 4)
Actor Michael Dorn is best known as Lieutenant Commander Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Straddling the line between the real actor and his fictional character, Michael Dorn appeared on South Park in full Klingon make-up while wearing a Pasadena City College sweater, Dorn’s real-life alma mater.
When the boys kidnapped baby cows, the FBI were forced to negotiate with them. Cartman added to the list of demands that he wanted "the guy who plays Worf on Star Trek" to drive their getaway vehicle. The FBI bowed to their demands. Dorn drove the vehicle and seethed quietly as Cartman requested that Dorn refer to him as “captain”.
Klingons are one of the most visually recognisable and iconic races in the whole sci-fi canon, close enough to human for an audience to relate but odd enough to stand out. Dorn’s appearance finds humour in the juxtaposition of Worf outside of the show's setting. This could’ve turned into a running gag. However, the time may have passed. Since the character’s appearance on South Park, Dorn has lent his voice to two episodes of former rival show Family Guy.
