10 Characters Who Should Recur On The Flash TV Series

10. The Trickster

Iojiojiojiojioj While not as dangerous or insane as the murderous Joker, Trickster also uses gag weapons to pull off his robberies. There have been two Tricksters in the DC universe. The first was James Jesse, a former circus acrobat who used his dangerous toys and gadgets to steal and con others. He was later killed by Deadshot when he tried to protect the Pied Piper from being shot. The second and current Trickster is Axel Walker, who found all of Jesse€™s joke-themed weapons and started using them for himself. Axel has been hanging out with the Rogues for the last couple of years (although he€™s not exactly their brightest member), and recently had his arm ripped off by Gorilla Grodd during the Gorilla City story arc. It€™s cool though, he has a new bionic arm in its place. I don€™t care too much about which Trickster they use, but to honor the Flash€™s legacy they should probably use James Jesse since he€™s been an enemy of the Flash for decades. However, the gag gifts might need some adjustment. Sure you can imagine him converting toys into bombs or something like that, but other gadgets like his flying shoes should be done carefully. Start the Trickster off light at first. Show him using some random prank items to pickpocket or rob people on the street, but then establish that he has technological prowess, perhaps intuitively or from working as an engineer, and show him converting his gags into weapons. As the show progresses, you can have him using more elaborate gadgets to fight the Flash. After all, he€™ll need to step up his game after each encounter.
