10 Characters Who Should Recur On The Flash TV Series

5. Heat Wave

Heat Wave As his name suggests, Mick Rory, a.k.a. Heat Wave, loves fire. Obsessed with it since he was a child, he decided to focus this obsession when he noticed all the specialty villains popping up. Building an asbestos suit and a handheld flamethrower, he used his pyromania to commit crimes and fight the Flash whenever he interfered. Ironically, Heat Wave has an aversion to cold, which puts him into conflict with his Rogues teammate Captain Cold quite a bit. In the New 52, Heatwave was one of the Rogues members who underwent Cold€™s process that merged their weapons into them to give them powers. As a result, Heat Wave is now pyrokinetic and can shoot fire from his chest, although if he gets too angry he starts to overheat. Oddly enough, Heat Wave has the easies gimmick to show on the TV series. Unlike Captain Cold€™s gun or Mirror Master€™s mirrors, flamethrowers already exist in real-life, so it wouldn€™t be difficult to imagine him getting ahold of one to commit crimes. At some point, however, he should somehow decrease the size of his gun to make it more compact. Perhaps he enlists the help of another Flash villain to do this, like Captain Cold. Finally, and I€™ll talk more about this later, it€™s important that Heat Wave isn€™t made to be a murderer. He may use his weapon to scare others and destroy things, but that doesn€™t mean he should be setting people ablaze.
