8. Hercules (Hercules)
The ultimate Grecian hero, an iconic symbol of Greek and classical mythology at its finest, Hercules and his exploits have long since been portrayed through countless films and forms of media, in particular the Disney film of the same name which inspired this reviewer to learn more about mythology in general. It therefore seems natural that the producers might want to bring in this hero to make an appearance on the show. The adventures of Hercules and his labours could easily lend itself and fold into the Once Upon a Time 'verse - imagine Rumpelstiltskin forcing Hercules to go through these tests of his strength, resilience and endurance to rescue his true love. Not only is Hercules an iconic muscle man, the Disney portrayal gives the hero a beating heart and a sense of confusion over where he belongs - on Earth or Mount Olympus. In Storybrooke, he'd easily be a gym owner or frequent user, someone that David/Charming could potentially run into. Casting-wise, we could see Kellan Lutz, Joe Mangianello or Jesse Williams slipping into Hercules' toga easily and giving most of the female viewers (and some of the males ones too) something new to drool over.
