5. & 6. The Red Queen & The White Queen (Alice in Wonderland)
Both of the iconic and memorable queens from Lewis Carroll's Through The Looking Glass deserve spots on the list of people we'd most like to see in the annals of the show's characters - particular in regards to Jefferson (aka the Mad Hatter). With Alice journeying down through the rabbit hole, it seems only fitting that the two queens would appear. The Red Queen (or Queen of Hearts) is a villain that such a brilliant archetype of madness and insanity all rolled up in a croquet mallet made of a flamingo that we could easily see her matching Regina for levels of sheer evil badass goodness. As for the White Queen, we could easily see someone in the vein of Anne Hathaway's delightful performance in the Tim Burton adaptation - flighty, sweet and clinging onto her lightness when she knows she has darkness inside her. No Storybrooke counterparts should be needed (unless the curse affected all worlds, not just the Enchanted Forest) but there were, we'd love to see Red Queen as an unhinged high school principal and White Queen as the school's counsellor. Ideal casting? Jodie Foster as the Red Queen and either Carrie Preston or Kerry Washington as the White Queen.
