4. Jasmine (Aladdin)
Adding the impressive roster of princesses could be Jasmine - emerging from a film as iconic as the song 'A Whole New World' (although dear God don't give Once Upon a Time a musical episode - not unless it's directed by Joss Whedon, okay?), she was one of the Disney Renaissance's most recognisable and identifiable princess heroines and someone easily in need of making a Storybrooke appearance with her strength, resilience and empowering attitude. Involving Jasmine would also be a great boon to diversifying the cast which is pretty much lily white to begin with (save for the odd black character or the now recurring role of Mulan) - we'd equally love to see Pocahontas for different reasons but could have a similar effect, both she and Jasmine strong female characters who are searching for their own destinies and own paths. Agrabah's already been established as a separate kingdom, so with parts of the Enchanted Forest surviving Regina's curse, maybe we could see Jasmine as the leader of her kingdom, full crown, army and all. As for dream casting, we could easily someone like Paola Turbay or Alia Shawkat as the spirited princess - a girl whom we feel could easily be an asset to the show.
