3. Rapunzel (Tangled)
Everyone thinks they know the story - a beautiful girl is trapped in a tower with only her long flowing hair for company, which eventually saves her. However, we personally would love to see a character more on par with the absolutely brilliant 2010 Disney version, with Mandy Moore voicing Rapunzel and embodying her as a more solid, well-thought out and courageous princess type. Rapunzel wasn't just the latest in a generation of brave, strong princesses, she was also easily the funniest and most comedic, garnering as many belly laughs as she did wistful sighs. She'd be a brilliant addition to the Once Upon a Time cast and we could see her adding some lightness and levity to the show's storylines and stopping events from getting too dark and dramatic. Rapunzel could easily be a hairdresser in Storybrooke - hair, hairdressing? - and as for fanciful fantasy casting, we could definitely see Emma Stone in the long wig, or perhaps Rosamund Pike for a spin on the story with an older, more mature Rapunzel. Either way we'd be sold on this plucky, hilarious princess joining the ranks of Storybrooke's finest.
