10 Classic TV Shows That Need A Reunion Series

5. 3rd Rock From The Sun

Buffy Reunion

So at the end of 3rd Rock from the Sun, the Solomon family left Earth for their native planet, never to be seen again, right? But imagine that some years later (say, for example, in 2016) the crack team of alien explorers returned to Earth to conduct a follow up report.

If they were able to provide us with hilariously biting social commentary in the relatively benign time period that was the mid-to-late 90s, just think about what they could do with present day America. The world that they left is not the world that they would be returning to, and there's so much incredible material to mine it almost seems like a waste for them not to entertain a reunion season.

I have a hard time thinking that John Lithgow, Kristen Johnston, French Stewart, or Jane Curtin would object to putting the band back together. The only issue might be Joseph Gordon Levitt who, as an A-lister in his own right, has an understandably crowded schedule. But if the material was good, and the time commitments weren't too extensive, I could see them reuniting for at least a 12-episode run on Netflix.
