10 Classic TV Shows That Sold Out With Awful Gimmick Episodes

7. Seinfeld

Episode: "The Finale" What nitwit at NBC deemed it necessary that Jerry and his buddies needed some kind of karmic retribution for their selfish acts over the course of the series? The gang are put on trial after they refuse to help a stranger in distress in a violation of the "Good Neighbor" law (who knew?) We are then treated a line up of various characters from past episodes (the Soup Nazi, etc) who relay their tales to the judge of how awful the gang are, which is not news to any fan of the show. Watching a show that has always claimed it is about nothing struggle to establish a moral center is disappointing to say the least. The Seinfeld reunion in Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm several years later was a far superior capper to the series than this mess.

Hi there, What Culture-ers! I'm William Graff, a 40-year old freelance writer from the wilds of Capitol Hill in beautiful Denver, Colorado. I enjoy many things such as beer, Doctor Who, The Simpsons, record collecting, stand-up comedy, long aimless walks, and of course the Broncos, which is required by law if you live here.
