Starting with the most current conspiracy theory, you've probably heard about the recent outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus. Ebola first manifested in the 1970s and has now reemerged in North America causing understandable fear and concern. However with fear, there often comes demand for answers and reassurance. So it came to be that many Simpsons fans are convinced that Fox and Matt Groening were apparently in on this pandemic... a full seventeen years before it occurred. Let that marinade. The episode "Lisa's Sax" which first aired in 1997 features a flashback to a five year old Bart, miserable after a rough start at school. Marge offers him a book entitled "Curious George and the Ebola Virus". Bart turns down the book and when asked if he wants to color something he points out a drawing of himself dead and surrounded by corpses. Fans believe this drawing was Bart's vision of a future society destroyed by the Ebola virus. Though it can hardly be called a premonition (Ebola already existed and was sure to come back eventually), it does give the episode an odd sense of significance upon current viewings.
As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG.
I may have a problem!
But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
