Finally, this list would not be complete without the inclusion of a Miss Phoebe Buffay. Although an intrinsic cog in the group of friends rather than a bit part character as the other entries on this list have been, her constant eccentric behaviour acts as a contrast to her friends somewhat conventional lives in the same way as her crazy counterparts. Phoebe has many unusual traits that add to her individuality. Her upbringing on the streets of New York, where she resorted to mugging to earn her living, is constantly referenced throughout the show and her wild stories, from contracting hepatitis when a pimp spat in her mouth to stabbing a cop, continue to shock her friends. Craziest Moments Phoebe has too many moments to mention just one but through her time on the show, she: acts as the surrogate mother for her half-brothers triplets, marries a gay ice dancer, dates her own twins ex-fiancé, believes her dead mother has been reincarnated as a cat, is possessed by the spirit of an 82-year old woman, and subjects everyone to her questionable musical talent whilst singing in Central Perk; a talent that none of her loving friends care to question. Oh and that music video she makes for her song about an unloved cat that smells. And when she saves a bunch of dead Christmas trees from being destroyed (the ones that don't fulfil their Christmas destiny). And... this could go on for a while.
