5. Getting Bullied By A Teenager

Season 1 | Episode 9 When Louie takes a woman he recently met on a date, everything seems to be going well. He's making her laugh, and he even takes her to one of his regular haunts - 'some crummy doughnut place'. Unfortunately things get a little serious from there. Just as the date reaches a high point, some high school kids stroll in and start causing a scene. Louie steps in but gets firmly put in place by a kid half his size who threatens to beat him up. Louie's date promptly leaves. Why Could It Only Happen On Louie? Because it's one of the most squirm-inducing bits of television you're ever likely to see and because you'll be screaming at the TV saying 'don't let him talk to you like that'. The scene actually plays out more realistically than we care to admit, as Louie sits back and takes the abuse instead of risking getting hurt. His reasoning is actually pretty good - why risk getting hurt when he has two kids to take care off - yet the primal instinct in all of us says 'you can't let him get away with this'.
