Boy, have we got some theories for you...
Rightfully claiming its crown as the next Game of Thrones, Westworld is HBO's thinking man's Deadwood, and something to be enjoyed carefully and with great measure as you try and figure out what in the holy hell is going on.
At over the halfway point of the epic shoot em' up series, it seems that we have more questions than answers. What is Dr. Robert Ford's M.O., is the Man in Black really a nice guy outside the confines of the park, and will James Marsden make it to the end of the series without become robotic cannon fodder once more?
We seem no closer to getting to the bottom of Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy's mysterious conclusion, and with more questions to wrap your head around than the average episode of LOST, we are more confused than ever. With that in mind, let's round up the craziest theories on what everyone is asking down in Westworld.

Found footage has never been hotter, so is Westworld pulling an American Horror Story Season 6 on us? Could the whole show be one daring person's escape from robotic hell. The centre of that infamous maze clearly has some bearing on where the series is going, with other theorists posing that the maze is a way for the robotic hosts to gain their own freedom.
So, is the show is actually a documentary pieced together by one of the escapees after the bloody climax which we are building towards?
The theory actually goes even further than that, saying that Westworld is not only a documentary, but a "real" documentary from the future, in Terminator style. Imagine that Westworld is set in the future, and being beamed back to us through HBO to warn us of the horrors of the future.
