9. Keep Summer Safe
When Rick's spaceship stops working thanks to a faulty microverse battery, he and Morty shrink down and head into the battery itself. Instead of leaving Summer defenceless on a strange version of Earth with giant telepathic spiders, Rick charges the ship itself with the job of keeping Summer safe.
This quickly escalates from literally dicing and paralyzing two shady looking characters, to having the police arrive and eventually surround the vehicle with guns. Since Summer has commanded the ship to use no physical violence to protect her, the ship turns to psychological damage.
After scanning those surrounding her, the ship focuses on one officer whose seven year old son drowned some years ago. It makes a clone of the small boy, named Hunter, and rolls it out to the officers, forcing them to lower their weapons.
Naturally, the officer has no idea what to think, but is just overcome with the joy of seeing his son again. Hunter then melts into some sort of goo in the officer's arms, reducing the man to tears and uncontrollable sobbing. This is enough to damage anyone for life, and something that the ship threatens every other officer with as the first man lays holding the jelly that was once his son.j
