Mr. Garrison wants a sex change operation in order to become Mrs. Garrison. Kyle wants to become tall and black.

In order to make Kyle tall and black, the surgeon needs to place soft, round objects in the knee joints to make the legs longer. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the writers obviously just wanted to justify placing Mr. Garrison's testicles inside Kyle's knees.

Kyle immediately wants to try out for the local basketball team, but unbeknownst to him his legs are purely cosmetic and any severe trauma will cause the testicles to explode.

Garrison regrets the operation and wants to change back, so pretty soon it becomes a race against time to reach Kyle before he does any lasting damage.

Sadly, amidst a lot of confusion and in the throes of a game, Kyle jumps to score and lands hard on the ground. The knee testicles pop and Kyle's upper half is lying on the ground surrounded by blood and goo. It's all very hilarious and very, very messy.

Not many shows can claim to have run this trope into the ground.
