6. Winnie The Pooh - Every Character Suffers From A Mental Illness

We all know, at least in retrospect, that Eeyore was clinically depressed. But what about the rest of the cast? The entire cast of Winnie the Pooh are actually representations of mental disorders. An article by the Canadian Medical Association diagnosed each of the central characters with a different psychological disorder. Piglet has Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Owl is Dyslexic and Tigger has ADHD. Central character Pooh isn't even spared from this, suffering from ADHD OCD, and Impulsive tendencies.

Finally, the only human character of the cast, Christopher Robin was simply schizophrenic. The other characters are, after all, manifestations of his own imagination. With their myriad of mental issues, the different animals represent Christopher€™s own struggles as a child learning to function socially and interact with the outside world.

With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
