10 Doctor Who Comic Book Characters Who Should Appear In The Show

1. Abslom Daak - Dalek Killer

He's big and he's mean, and he's out for Dalek blood. He's Abslom Daak - Dalek Killer - a character unlike any other in Doctor Who. Bringing an 80s gunshow, anti-hero qualities, a Judge Dredd demeanour, and a superhero origin story, Daak has become one of Doctor Who's most popular spin-off characters and a consistent ally or menace to the Doctor.

Sometime in the 26th Century, a Dalek invasion claimed the life of Daak's only love. Grabbing some massive overpowered guns and a chainsword, this galactic enforcer began his one-man vendetta against the war machines from Skaro.

Appearing in the Marvel Comics Doctor Who run, short stories, novels, and now the Titan Comics, Daak's grand revenge schemes have seen him blowing up Dalek saucers, rescuing survivors, and crossing paths with numerous Doctors.

Daak briefly appeared in 2014's Time Heist, appearing in comic book-form as one of the universe's most wanted in the Bank of Karabraxos. He's yet to appear in person, and fans have wondered if Marvel hold the rights to the character. Regardless, it would be refreshing to see someone go up against the Daleks in a way that the Doctor never would - with brute force, gratuitous action, comic book quips, and blockbusting badassery.

Galactic Rating: 'Whatcha gonna do now, big shot? Sucker me to death?'
