10 Doctor Who Comics Fans Must Read
3. A Tale Of Two Time Lords
Recently, fans were given a chance to see an epic crossover of the thirteenth and tenth doctors as they graded fans' cosplays on The Late Show with James Gorden. This sweet moment of pure nerdy enjoyment may not have been a proper onscreen cameo but thankfully that itch can be scratched thanks to the fourth volume of the 13th Doctor's comic run known as A Tale of Two Time Lords.
In A Tale of Two Timelords, the tenth and thirteenth doctors collide when the classic modern-day Doctor Who villains, the terrifying Weeping Angels, send the thirteenth doctor and her "fam" back to the swinging 60s. In the 60s the tenth doctor is already there, having to deal with the Weeping Angels and the plastic Autonsas. Both horrific races engaged in a territorial battle.
This means the thirteenth doctor and her "fam" have to fight two races of classic monsters and avoid running into the tenth Doctor or else the universe may explode, thank god that doesn't happen when the actors meet in our world.
This story may not be as high level as all the Doctors rushing together to save the universe, but two fan-favorite Doctors fighting two fan-favorite monsters sounds like a perfectly exciting book for fans to relax with on the weekend.
