Here's one that every science fiction fan has, at some point, dreamed of. Who doesn't want the Doctor and the characters of Star Wars to meet? Hopefully, the writers will listen to their fans. But what if there really was a Doctor Who/Star Wars crossover? Well, with the arrival of the new Star Wars trilogy due to start this year, there may be a reference to the Time Lord or two maybe and, hopefully, a special celebratory episode which would see a little involvement from the Doctor himself. The main reason as to why this crossover won't ever happen is that Disney now own the rights to all things Star Wars. If the Doctor was ever involved, therefore, some - if not all - of the rights would need to be signed over to them, which would probably spark a war or cause a riot at least. Let's face it, though, the way Disney is going, they'll probably end up owning the BBC, along with everything else, pretty soon anyway.
