With The Simpsons and Family Guy crossover - yes, both shows had one - set to go down in televisual history as one of the greatest intertwining episodes ever, many viewers would probably question: why not have a go with another franchise? And maybe that franchise could be Doctor Who. Seeing the Doctor in Family Guy or Simpson form has been done by fans on numerous occasions (a nifty Google search will show you that!) and they are probably the ones who are eagerly awaiting an episode of such desire. Plus, hearing the Doctor foul mouth in an episode of Family Guy would be like having the Twelfth Doctor suddenly turn into Malcolm Tucker, and wouldn't that be a joy! The reason why this crossover won't happen is because... well, maybe it will happen. Doctor Who has previously been referenced in both animated sitcoms so there isn't actually anything from preventing it from going ahead. Fingers crossed.
