10 Doctor Who Details You Definitely Missed The First Time

Series 5 finale The Big Bang opens with a, well, bang.

The shock revelation that Amy Pond is inside the Pandorica - not the Eleventh Doctor, who we'd previously witnessed get locked inside the box - immediately catches you off guard, and it's not until almost ten minutes into the episode that the Doctor actually appears.

Well, technically, he is glimpsed during the cold open, which follows young Amelia Pond on a trip to the museum. It's easy to spot him posting a flyer through her letterbox (that fez sticks out like a sore thumb), but what you probably didn't know is that he's visible again towards the end of this scene, albeit far more subtly.

Keep your eyes on the right-hand side of the screen as Amelia first approaches the Pandorica, and the Doctor can be seen for roughly five or six frames, casually slinking out of the shot.

It's one of those "How did I miss that?!" details you'll never be able to unsee, and an extremely clever bit of framing by director Toby Haynes.
