The final season of 13 Reasons Why may have been one of its more divisive offerings, but the one thing it absolutely nailed was Alex Standall's exploration of his own sexuality.
A character that had spent most of his teenage years in love with Jessica Davis, maturity brought with it the realisation that he might actually be gay. And though he began to confirm this realisation through a number of intimate moments with best friend Zach and new arrival Winston, it was his wholesome relationship with Charlie St. George that got us all in the feels.
13 Reasons Why isn't known for being a feelgood show, but it was impossible not to find your heart exploding with warmth everytime these two were on-screen together. And, of all the things to come from the fourth season, their unexpected romance was by far the best.
From the undeniable chemistry between Miles Heizer and Tyler Barnhardt to the fact that Alex had finally found the happiness he was craving, 'Chalex' was the couple we never knew we needed... and boy, are we thankful we got them.
