10 Extremely Likeable TV Aliens

8. Watt (Watt On Earth)

Watt On Earth "Watt on Earth" ran in 1991 and 1992 on Children's BBC and was written by the husband and wife Doctor Who-writing duo Pip and Jane Baker. The series focused on Watt, an extraterrestrial who, by human standards, had a very bizarre taste in food and the ability to shapeshift ("transanimateobjectification", as Watt called it). Watt is heir to the throne on his home planet and his uncle, who wanted the throne for himself, sent his top henchman Jemadah to follow and kill Watt (which was what caused him to flee in the first place). Watt is over 300 years of age, but appears to be a human in his early twenties due to the difference in both the biology of his species and the speed at which time travels on his planet. He has back-to-front ears initially (which become green in the final series) and is generally very likeable, becoming friendly with young boy called Sean Ruddock who keeps him safe (and secret) in his house.
