2. Yvonne Strahovski
More like Yvonne Strahotski, am I right? All kidding aside, the Aussie actress is one of those people who is so stunningly beautiful that audiences don't even notice that she's actually a pretty talented actor. Best known for her role as CIA operative Sarah Walker on the criminally underrated Chuck, she has the makings of a really promising female action star. She is skilled at combining ass-kicking fighting skills with a sense of emotional vulnerability that helps create an unusually complex character. And although people tend to underestimate her acting ability, she certainly hasn't been struggling to find work. Immediately after Chuck went off the air, she was cast as Hannah McKay in the final season of Dexter, where she showcased a totally different character than the one we'd been used to seeing. When I see her act, I'm reminded of something that someone once said to Paul Newman: "If you were less handsome, you could be as good an actor as Brando." I don't know if I would go so far as to compare her to Paul Newman, but there certainly is something to be said about people underestimating the abilities of beautiful people. It's so easy to assume they got their jobs on their looks (which, to be fair, a lot of them do) or to be so distracted by beauty that you miss the artist.
