10 Fascinating Facts About Seinfeld
6. Jerry Seinfeld Was Offered $5 Million Per Episode To Make A 10th Season
Decades before Jerry turned down a hug from Ke$ha, he turned down a slightly more tempting offer: $100 million. NBC put that money on the table in the hopes that it would sway him into giving them another season of the show.
He refused. This wasn't only because he felt the show had reached its natural end but also because he’d devoted most of his adult life to the show and had no wife, kids or life of his own. He went on to follow-up his Seinfeld success with a successful personal life. In 1999, he married and has since fathered three kids.
He’s also relaxed his stance on not making any more Seinfeld. There have been sporadic Seinfeld reunions over the years, the most notable being in a 2009 episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Jerry also stated in a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres that a reboot is "possible".
