1. Gemma Teller Morrow
FXAs much as viewers can't wait to see what becomes of Jax, for better or worse, the fate of his master manipulator mother is the one most are waiting to find out. For six seasons, Katey Sagal has time and again stolen the show, but, like her late second husband Clay Morrow, it feels as though she's been living a lot of it on borrowed time. Being involved in John Teller's death, nearly causing Abel's death in a car crash due to her recklessness and her impulsive murder of Tara -- and trying to cover each one up in some way -- along with an often misguided sense of self-righteousness have put a continually tightening noose around her neck with each passing season. Though she's earned sympathy points (her rape in season two is painful to watch) and badass points (who doesn't remember what she's capable of with a skateboard?) that have rounded her character out, seeing what becomes of Gemma is one of the most exciting prospects about the final season. With so many other fan favorite characters out there, from Happy to Chuckie to Venus Van Dam and everyone in between, Sons of Anarchy's final season has a lot to wrap up and can hopefully give all of them one last time to shine.
