2. Jax Teller
FXNot a whole lot can be said when it comes to why viewers should be and are excited to see what becomes of Jax. With the series destined to end in a pool of blood and the parallels between the show and Shakespeare's Hamlet suggesting a very finite end to Jax's arc, viewers are antsy for what's to come. While Jax has had his ups and downs and the great supporting cast has all gotten their chance to steal the spotlight from him, Charlie Hunnam has been the anchor of the series from the beginning, entertaining fans at his most badass, frustrating fans at his most stubborn and breaking fans' hearts alongside his own as he's coped with one tragedy after another. Every viewer has their own idea of what they want to see become of Jax, whether it means being buried six feet under, overcoming the final season's obstacles to lead the club on the right path or packing up the boys and leaving Charming behind. Though some will inevitably be unhappy with whatever happens -- as with nearly all shows -- Kurt Sutter has laid a solid, six season foundation upon which it's more than easy to have faith he'll stick the landing and ensure that the story of Jax Teller will go down as one of the greats in television history.
