Sometimes, the jokes are less subtle. Well, harder to spot, but definitely intended like that. An army of really good-looking people stand in formation, ready to attack Jenny and the Doctor. The Doctor says they need a plan, but Jenny insists that she takes care of this one. She takes her dress off ready to take them on, and the Doctor's sonic screwdriver rises in his hand slightly. He realises, and lowers it again, embarrassed. Again, this one's pretty simple to interpret; I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It's a joke that's offended a lot of people, from its sexualisation of a gay woman, to just the inclusion of a joke as crude as this, and this is all after the Doctor sexually assaults Jenny. But in some defence of Gatiss, the Doctor is the butt of the joke, and Jenny is the role model of the scene; let's make no mistake about the morals of the writer.
