8. Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered
Being dumped on Valentine's Day is no laughing matter, unless you live in Sunnydale.
The first of the wild and wacky Xander episodes sees the heartbroken man himself approach Amy (a junior witch) to try and cast a spell that will win back cold Cordelia's heart. What could possibly go wrong?
Buffy is turned into a rat, Cordelia is beaten by Harmony, Willow gets naked, Oz gets punchy and the whole school - and then town - ends up fighting for Xander's affections. Amy's spell has every woman in sight clambering for a piece of Xander, including Miss Calendar, Joyce and, perhaps most comically of all, Drusilla, who handily saves him from Angel's wrath.
The title itself is taken from the Frank Sinatra song, Bewitched, which features the prescient lines:
Lost my heart, but what of it?
She's cold, I agree
She can laugh, but I love it
Although the laugh's on me.
