You know that when a TV show decides to cut you out for an entire season that you're considered to be pretty damn dispensable. That's to say, after all that occurred in season four, Bran Stark and his companions were axed from the show for the sum of season five, and are reported to return in season six. But would anybody really be all that bothered if the writers said, "So, we're not going to go back to Bran, ever, because we can't be arsed. Okay?" "Fine with us," would presumably be the collective reply from Game of Thrones fans everywhere, because didn't everyone get fed up with the drawn-out nature of Bran's endlessly mysterious plotline? It just went on and on, to the point where actually revisiting Bran and his companions felt like a chore. Also: Bran is just really kind of annoying.
