10 Game Of Thrones Characters That Nobody Actually Cares About
6. Stannis Baratheon
One of the show's two "boring, bald" characters, Stannis Baratheon is about as interesting as a copper pot. Though he's improved marginally as a point of interest ever since the show first introduced him to audiences, he's still one of the many characters who - when an episode switches over to him - you instinctively think: "Oh, man... not Stannis." It's not that the plotlines circling Stannis are dull; it's just that he's depicted with as much characterisation as any "random white male in a fantasy series" and has all the personality of a default character in a fantasy video game. Stephen Dillane might be an actor with more range, but you wouldn't know if from the way he delivers Stannis' lines, one after the other, in exactly the same gesture of half-whispered seriousness. If he was to find himself maimed, mangled or murdered anytime soon, chances are fans of Game of Thrones would relish the notion that the show will never cut back to him.
