3. The Sand Snakes

Here are three potentially compelling characters who have failed to live up to their introduction scene, in which they were poised as ultimate badass fighters destined to pose a major threat to the Lannister clan. And yet, after one disappointing fight sequence, The Sand Snakes - that being Obara Sand, Tyene Sand, and Nymeria Sand - have been thrown into a jail cell, and that's it. Wouldn't it have been a better idea to have positioned them in the vein of video game bosses, in which dynamic duo Jaime and Bronn were forced to defeat each sister in a series of tension-clad episodes? Now, that would have been bloody exciting! As it stands, though, the Sand Snakes are just irritating. Audiences should feel sorry for them, of course, given what happened to their father, but it's hard to sympathise with their revenge quest when all three Snakes are so plainly unlikeable.
