4. Joffrey 'Baratheon'

Not all characters who die early are good, and Joffrey is definitive proof that you certainly can kill a villain too soon. A couple of seasons ago, if you'd asked any fan of the show what their Number 1 'most wanted' scene would be, almost every one of them would've said Joffrey's death, and they'd have all been more than satisfied watching him ooze into oblivion at his own wedding feast. The storylines that play out after his death are obviously major and provide immense drama that shaped the show just as much as Ned and Robert's back in Season 1. However, the show was full of bad people without one prominent, overarching, diabolical villain. Joffrey was simply the worst person alive, and he also just happened to be the King. His presence really was missed during the spell afterwards when fans scrambled to find somebody new to pour their hate on.
