10 Game Of Thrones Deaths You Didn't Actually See Happen

"He was scaled like a lizard, blind, with the stub of a tail and small leather wings like the wings of a bat."

'Dead - No longer alive, devoid of living things.' The Oxford Dictionary gets it, but apparently David Benioff and D.B. Weiss don't. You see, when something dies, it doesn't simply come back to life...unless it's the illegitimate son of Eddard Stark and Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. I remember the days when TV and film characters died and actually stayed dead without needing to see their head on a spike to be convinced. The Jon Snow saga, combined with efforts from other hit shows (Glenn & The Walking Dead, I'm looking at you), has meant that fans no longer believe anything they see on screen. Now, there are obviously some deaths that cannot be questioned by anyone with a brain in their head. Ned Stark had his lopped off in front of an entire crowd. He died. He was killed. Wham bam, that was the end of him. There's no alternative to suggest he's still alive (although you'd be surprised at how many people have tried to theorise Ned survived) but there's a huge number of deaths that are oddly ambiguous. Classic off-screen deaths cause panic among fans. If they don't see something happen, then how can they 100% believe it to be true, especially in the twisting, turning, treacherous world of Thrones? The following 10 characters are expected to have died, but we didn't actually see them go. Could a comeback (or ten) be on the cards?
