3. Benjen Stark

Benjen is the Gendry of the North. We saw him ride off Beyond the Wall and never heard anything from him again. His seemingly important story arc was simply cast aside, never to be looked at again. Jon Snow mentions his Uncle Benjen several times, but details of his whereabouts are non-existent. We've got to assume that he's dead. There's no other realistic explanation, he simply has to be dead. However, like Syrio, the theory-makers have all sorts of wild ideas about Benjen. Some believe he could be warging around the cold North, and that he was the only survivor from his patrol because he could move into the bodies of animals. Others simply think he died and was raised as a wight. We just don't know; the mystery goes on.
