10 Game Of Thrones Moments That Didn't Live Up To Expectations

9. Arya's Training

Arya Stark is by far one of the most popular characters on the show.

The amazing performance by Maisie Williams as an eerily sadistic child out for revenge had always been a highlight. Her arduous journey of death and despair led her to a member of the Faceless Men, Jaqen H'ghar.

H'ghar was a member of an elite cult of assassins that could seamlessly change their appearance by wearing the face of another person. Eventually, Arya made her way to the House of Black and White to learn the deadly arts of the Many-Faced God.

The whole thing was handled sloppily with no end of contradictions and stupid decisions. The characters of Waif and Jaqen were particularly confusing as they preached for Arya to become "no one" yet seemed to still have their own personal desires and ideals.

Despite all of the threats regarding Arya's rash actions, the Stark girl left relatively unscathed with no consequences.

Fans theorised in between episodes as to why Arya was suddenly acting so bizarre with wild speculations which turned out to be sheer arrogance on the character's part.
