10 Game Of Thrones Heroes You Didn't Realise Were Villains

5. Bronn

Are we all deluded enough to think that Bronn really is a hero? He might have been part of the one the best and unlikeliest bro-mances in recent years but his support of Tyrion Lannister has really just been a means to an end. Like his friend, Bronn is out to get whatever he can get and his choices have not always been the right ones. Not to mention that fact that he chose his profession for a reason. Way back in season one, Bronn revealed the sort of man he was when he alluded to killing a woman before he was twelve years old (even if it was self-defence). Becoming Tyrion's champion at the Eyrie, he showed he would use whatever dirty tactic there was in the book just to win and since then he has proven himself to be a skilled and very dangerous ally to Tyrion Lannister. In the second season he served the Lannisters at Kings€™ Landing, employing brutal methods whilst in charge of the City Watch and fighting for the murderous family in the Battle of Blackwater, the latter of which results in a knighthood. In season four, he's still the witty, dangerous man we've always loved but his humour and style shouldn't be taken for anything less than it is; Bronn is a villain who is out to get what he wants, and with Tyrion now behind bars, it will be interesting to see where his loyalties lie next.
