10 Games Of Thrones Actors You Recognise But Can't Place

1. Harry Lloyd - Viserys Targaryen

We can't judge you too harshly for not recognizing Harry Lloyd, because the young actor has a reputation for being something of a chameleon. On Game of Thrones, he played Daenarys's older brother Viserys, the violently unstable man with elusive dreams of grandeur who met an untimely end via a golden crown (but not necessarily the type he was hoping for). His abuse hurled towards his younger sister and piteous grasps at glory make him a poor shadow of a villain -- nasty and unlikable, without a doubt, but also a bit pathetic. Before Harry Lloyd joined the cast of Game of Thrones, he had done work on two high profile BBC television series. Firstly, he played Will Scarlet on Robin Hood, one of the youngest and most skilled members of his legendary band of Merry Men. A year later, he made a short yet significant appearance on Doctor Who, where he played the public schoolboy Jeremy Baines (as well as the cold, detached alien that possessed him) in the classic serial Human Nature/Family of Blood. Embrace the weirdness of the fact that Jojen and Viserys Targaryen have been in a Doctor Who episode together.
