Feeling nostalgic?

GLOW tells a fictionalised version of the true story of the '80s Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, a company founded in 1985 that incorporated wrestling (obviously) and comedy in order to give female performers a platform to showcase their ability.

Starring Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin, GLOW was an overnight smash, thanks to a combination of its unique comedy-drama format, multiple outstanding performances by the cast, and its powerfully fun, nostalgic soundtrack.

Featuring music from the likes of Rick Springfield, Heart, Journey, Patti LaBelle, Billy Joel, Tears for Fears, Queen and David Bowie in the first season alone, GLOW not only tells an outstanding story but delivers a singular musical experience.

Season two's soundtrack doubled down on the success of the first by adding music from artists like Hall & Oates, Aretha Franklin and Run-DMC.

The use of so many classic '80s songs is perfectly complemented by the show's unabashed cheesiness, which only adds a little more fuel to that nostalgic fire.

It's rare that a show ever so perfectly captures the essence of a decade, but in GLOW, music and aesthetic come together in a perfect storm of neon charm.
