10 GREAT TV Shows You Can't Watch Anymore

6. Diary of a Future President

We tend to focus on the higher-level shows when they meet with a deeply unfair cancellation or tax purging, but that's unfair to the thousands of writers, directors, and crew members who work on shows that don't blow up social media with every episode. Them getting screwed over by the corporate overlords is no less unfair.

Diary of a Future President was a cute and charming little streaming sitcom that aired on Disney+. It revolved around a middle schooler who aspires to be the next president - a simple premise for a comfortable little sitcom that did alright, ratings-wise.

And just five years ago, doing "alright" would've been fine. But as we get closer and closer to the streaming bubble's violent pop, doing "alright" just isn't enough. So, Disney purged a ton of its original material from the site for tax write-offs. We'll cover the most egregious victim of this in a bit, but Diary was another of the victims.

The show was never a critical darling, but even if it were the worst thing in the world, no piece of art deserves what happened to Diary of a Future President.
