3. Gus Fring - Breaking Bad
He is chillingly calm, ruthlessly efficient and not to be crossed. This is Gus Fring, the man that challenged even Walter White's intellect and put our favourite meth cooking duo through some of their toughest trials. Running a drug empire through his chain of chicken restaurants 'El Pollos Hermanos', Fring is a man in complete control of his business. Were it not for the interference of Heisenberg and co. he would most likely have continued his nefarious dealings for years. In his most terrifying moment we experience what happens when he loses his cool. I'll give you a hint; it involves a box cutter and someone's neck. Breaking Bad certainly has a varied rogues gallery but Gus Fring is head and shoulders above the rest, he exudes cold menace. He is brought to life by Giancarlo Esposito in what is likely to be the performance of his career. It takes a great actor to seem threatening whilst remaining deadly calm. The only thing more entertaining than his time on screen is his demise at the hands of Walter. Kudos to the Walking Dead's effects team for producing the unforgettable aftermath. Even at the brink of death he still straightens his tie - that's just badass.
